Spring has sprung...

Spring is here....not the Spring that we wish was here...the other one. Spring volleyball. This means conditioning, weights, practice, individuals, eating plans...bla bla bla.
Today, bright and early at 6:30 a.m. my team got the opportunity to have our first workout. This is when I wish I would have maintained my inshapeness. It is hard, sooo hard getting back into shape. And doing it at the college level is pretty rough. There is only many more hours, many more gallons of sweat, and slimming down to come. I hope anyway. I feel like I am on the Biggest Loser. I just want to feel good and be able to push my body and mind to the limit. Lets see what this girl can do.

The need to purge

Yes. I need to purge. But its not what you think....I am doing a GIANT closet purge. clothes, shoes, purses, jewelry...its got to go! Everything that I do not LOVE...I will not keep. I'm being brave.

From now on I am not going to buy things on impulse. I will only buy things that I love. Got it?? Tomorrow, Maybe Friday, but most likey Saturday is when it will be going down. I'm excited can you tell??

Back on Campus...

Well, I'm back. So sad to have to leave my family after an amazingly long Christmas Break. In total I was home for 5 weeks. Back and forth between my lovely Sister's house, Dad's, and Mom's, I always seemed to be very busy. It was such a great Christmas, I know, a month late....But I hope you had a Merry one.

New Years for me, was different than any other new Years I've ever had. Lets just say I was feeling a little antisocial and decided to jump on the One Tree Hill bandwagon. Suprise suprise, I watched my first episode and became addicted! Then I dragged Kate into it with me. I must say, watching them with her was a huge highlight to my Christmas Break. We laughed so hard, and even cried a little. Sister bonding time for sure.

I got to spend hours upon hours with the sweetest Nephew in the world! I love you Ty! I got to walk in on a couple awkward....tense moments at Katie's house...Remember that sis?? funny!

We went snowmobilling with my dad and wendy up at a cabin in idaho, watched kyle and kade wrestle! By the way, they are studs. I miss them already. I miss my mom too! She is amazing.

Here are a few pics for a late recap.

and a few more...

and...i chopped off my hair. I ♥ it. My hair dresser is amazing!

Some of the pics from Nationals! More to come...

December!

This means war!
Finals are here (thank goodness) I am seriously cracking down on this studying! I am so happy that I aced my chemistry test today, and am getting caught up in everything! Volleyball took a real toll on my studies! but....being 3rd in the Nation has its benefits as well! Luck for me, my professors have helped me out a lot and I am so thankful!

Now only a week and a help, before I get to go home! I can't wait to start my Christmas festivities, and shopping!

This Christmas season I have decided a few things:

When you are more aware about other people thank you are about yourself, you find so many amazing opportunities to help people!

I am FINALLY figuring out why I am here! A huge answer to my prayers!

I am going to see the real meaning of Christmas a lot more clear this year! I will try at least!

Happy Beginning of my Holidays....(once I get through finals!) ♥

XOXO

Team update.

Just when I think my life might begin slowing down, My team has to win Region Conference, and be ranked #2 in the Nation. We will be heading to nationals on Tuesday in West Plains Missouri.I am really excited to see how we can do. The crazy thing is...I really believe we can go all the way. I will let you know how we do in a week. But what I do know...is that I LOVE my team. ♥ I have never met 16 girls that come from different lives and backgrounds and get along so well. I love these girls. They are becoming the best friends in the world. Last night we went out to dinner...as friends! It was the first time that we all did something together that wasn't required! And we loved it. We all felt so grown up and it was fun to get all dressed up and get away. Love these girls, and this is exactly why I believe we will Win the National tournament. Go mustangs...
