{April Showers}

It is a rainy Sabbath day today....And I don't really mind. I have spent lots of time updating my blog, giving her a little makeover! I Love spring, even though it is definitely not very prevalent here in Wyoming. All I can say is, April Showers better bring May flowers!

I am going to start packing up everything this week, getting ready to move home. This coming weekend I am going to take a load of stuff home with me (Easter weekend), then When finals week comes to a close, I will hopefully be able to get everything else loaded up in 1 easy car load. We will see how much STUFF I have shortly!

?Aptitude?

Last week we all were told that we needed to be at a certain place at a certain time....and take an aptitude test. I dreaded almost every minute of the 2 hour long thingy... but lo and behold, I actually really enjoyed the results.

We took a short minute to reflect on what matters most to us in a career option. We reviewed and listed our interests, values, and talents that will contribute to our dream job. Then We got to look over our testing results. I found out that I am more:

investigative than accepting.

more practical than carefree.

more conformist than independent.

more prone to leadership than supportive.

more orderly than flexible.

seek more privacy than recognition (that was a close one).

equally realistic and aesthetic.

have great manual dexterity and problem solving skills.

and...

more social than reserved.

All the other results are just a bunch of numbers that wouldn't make sense to you... but I am supposed to seek out a career that is science skilled, science professional, service skilled, technology skilled, or arts professional.

Or maybe a creative combo of all the above.

Anyway...that is a bunch of mumbo jumbo that still probably doesnt make much sense, so here is a list of a few careers that best fit my aptitude results:

Dietetics

Nutrition

Pharmacology

Medical Lab tech.

Dental assis/hygiene

Radiology

NURSING

Social Work

Physicians Assisting

Music therapy??? lol

embalmer....haha

{Good Morning}

MORNING BLISS.....

I knew coming back from Spring Break was going to be rough....but who knew that coach was going to chang eup our schedules so now.....we never get to sleep in. 6:30 bright and early...my mornings come too soon and look a little like this.......I pretty much forced everyone to squeeze a smile in there....We are all looking FINE this morning.

This will be a huge and interesting adjustment to get used to. but on a GREAT note...I LOVE tuesdays. Because....it is 8 am and I am already done with volleyball workouts for the day! usually there are 3 things...tuesdays only have 1. YESSS! Spring Break update is coming!!

{almost} March...

I wish I could have just waited a whole 48 hours to blog about this, but gosh....March is right around the corner. March means spring. Spring means almost Summer....I know that is a little bit of a stretch....but March means Spring break. I am looking out the window at the totally blue sky. I get so excited when this happens. I can't wait until the blur skies reflect good temperatures too!

Not very many exciting things are going on in my life right now....sorry for the super boring post...

My Valentines...

I am a BIG fan of Valentines Day. There...I admitted it. Sometimes it seems pointless, and overrated, and overly talked about, and a waste of money....but it only seems to be pointless to the people who don't have a Valentine, (sigh). Even though I don't really have a special boy to be with this year...and who knows how many Februarys will pass until I do, DOESN'T mean I don't still have many Valentines....

Valentines Day and the whole month of February to me, it about LOVE, and letting the people you love, know you do.

My Baby Ty:

I don't think you will ever be able to grow up. You will always have a special place in my heart. I love you so much. I can't wait to watch you grow up and see all of the great things you will do. You have two of the best parents in the world. You have an amazing example as a Daddy. Thank you for being my first Valentine this year....Can't wait to kiss you soon.

My Dear Momma:

This woman goes beyond words in my heart. Over the years we have not always seen eye to eye, but now that I'm all Growed up...I learned that Momma always knows whats best. I love you mom. Thank you for being so strong. Thank you for letting your baby girl cry to you on the phone when things aren't right. I love you. You are beautiful.

Kade:

My sweet baby brother. You are always on my mind! I worry that you don't know how much I love you. So hear me NOW.... I am so proud of you for everything you are doing. I love you. Great job in wrestling this year. We both know you can kick my butt. Miss you....stay away from the girls...they are trouble. I'll be the only girl in your life for now!

Kyle:

My...not so little brother. I look up to you so much for your strength and your mental toughness. You are on a very clear path to becoming an amazing man. Remember I'm only a phone call away. What a stud this year in football and wrestling. I love you and know you will always have my back. Can't wait to see you soon...

To the best Dad in the world:

Your strength amazes me. Your patience and love for me are unconditional. You are the hardest working man I know. I hope to someday marry someone who can be half the dad you are to me, to all of us...and to the sweet baby on its way. I miss you whenever I don't see you, and love hearing your laugh. You were my very first Valentine. I remember when I was little, you always made me feel like such a little lady by bringing me flowers on this special day. I miss that. I love you. Never forget it.

I could go on and on about the people I love....but the most important things to me right now...are right here. Family is what it is all about. Happy February. Happy Valentines Day.

PHONE calls....

Oh I love talking on the phone with sister. She is so funny, and no one makes me laugh harder than her. Most of the time anyway. We could talk forever I'm pretty sure, switching through subjects and gossip a million miles an hour.......then you can tell when one of us gets bored with the other.....:) We start saying ya....cool.....ya ok......subtle laugh....pity laugh......oh good.......LOL!!! THEN one of us calls each other out on it!! and then we ramble some more and the minutes by on again! Love that girl. Definitely the best best friend in the world. LOVE you Katie.

PS: I forgot to tell you that the Rock Springs local ZUMBA club performed at our half time for bball games........I ABOUT DIED. Yes- I thought of you, and it got even more funny! I'll tell you more about it. Call me.
